Forecast team
Forecaster
Forecasters post weather outlooks, break down radar, and provide real-time coverage during active severe weather. You'll have access to weather commands and a dedicated coverage channel.
We're looking for
- Solid understanding of synoptic and mesoscale meteorology
- Ability to read and interpret NEXRAD products
- Comfort posting publicly with sourced reasoning
- Consistent activity in the server
Moderation
Moderator
Moderators keep the server running smoothly — handling reports, enforcing rules, and helping new members find their footing. You don't need a weather background, but you do need good judgment.
We're looking for
- Calm, consistent approach to conflict
- Familiarity with the server culture and rules
- Availability to check in regularly
- At least 2 weeks as an active member
Applications are reviewed by leadership. We'll follow up in Discord — make sure your DMs are open or that you're reachable in the server. No guarantees on timeline; we open spots when we need them.
